As the skipper came to the country after getting India a huge win, he was welcomed with a grand gesture at the airport. Not just he took on responsibility of Indian captain but on airport it was more a captain father, he was seen holding Samaira in his arms at the airport.

In addition to Rohit, head coach Gautam Gambhir and Harshit Rana have arrived in the country, and the remaining team members will come according to their individual preferences.
