Century Celebration or Message to Selectors

India and Vidarbha batter Karun Nair marked his century in the Ranji Trophy final against Kerala with a subtle yet impactful celebration. However, the celebration has sparked conversation on the Internet, with many guessing that it was a message to Indian Selectors.  His fierce form must be a regret for the champions trophy selectors who denied him any chance to prove.

With the England tour in the latter half of the year, he has also given another knock on the selectors’ doors by this performance.

The century was a testament to his hard work and perseverance, and his celebration reflected its significance. He raised both hands, signaling the number 9—representing his nine centuries this domestic season. Joined by his family, including mother wife, and possibly sister, the crowd gave him a standing ovation and erupted in applause
