The third edition of Major League Cricket (MLC) will kick off with a repeat of last year’s finale as defending champions Washington Freedom will square off against San Francisco Unicorns at the Oakland Coliseum, California, on Friday, June 13). Scheduled for over a month, the league will host a total of 34 T20 matches between six competitive teams across the United States. MLC 2025 matches will be played across three venues: Oakland Coliseum, Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas, and Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill. The playoffs, including the final on July 14, will be hosted at Grand Prairie Stadium.

Organised by American Cricket Enterprise, the MLC 2025 edition will be played in a double round robin format, where each team will face each other twice over 30 league stage matches.  Then, upon conclusion of the league stage, the tournament will move to the playoffs of the season, where the top 4 teams on the MLC Points table will get in a head-to-head battle to make it to the final of the third edition. The top two teams will meet in Qualifier while the third and fourth-placed sides will square off in the Eliminator. The winner of the Qualifier advances directly to the final. The losing team from the Qualifier will then face the winning side from the Eliminator in the Challenger match for the second berth in the final.
