MLC- Major League Cricket is a professional Twenty20 cricket league held in the United States, administered by American Cricket Enterprises. Launched in the year 2023, this marks the 3rd edition of the tournament, and features a double round-robin and playoffs format. Featuring a total of six teams, the Cognizant Major League Cricket is scheduled to run from June 12 to July 13, 2025, spanning a total of 34 matches. This season follows the expansion plan announced in May 2024 to increase the tournaments’ length and engagement up from 19 matches in the previous editions.

The Washington Freedom, champions of the 2024 season, will enter this as the defending champions, whereas the Washington Freedom and MI New York remain the most successful teams of the league, sharing one title each. Star performers from past seasons include Nicholas Pooran, who leads the run charts with 568 runs, and Trent Boult, the highest wicket-taker with 31 dismissals. This year’s MLC season has been strategically planned to attract high viewership and avoid conflicts with other global T20 Leagues like The Hundred.

The below given schedule is as per the Indian Standard time and will be originally played a date prior in the US. Meaning if the match is played on 13 June then in the US the match will be played on 12 June 2025. In India the match will be available for live-streaming and broadcasting in the morning.

Major League Cricket 2025: Playoffs

The MLC 2025 follows a double round robin format, followed by the Playoffs. The playoffs of the third season will feature three matches, including a Qualifier, an Eliminator, and a Challenger match, followed by a final match on July 14, 2025.

Major League Cricket(MLC) 2025: Venue

Major League Cricket will be played in the United Stats, across three different cities. Each team will play matches both at their home ground and at their opponents’ grounds. The playoffs and the final will also take place at one of the main stadiums.

Major League Cricket 2025 Start Date

The MLC 2025 Season will run from 12 June to 13 July across three cities of the United States. The matches in India will be played a day later than the original time of the matches due to time difference between the countries. For example if a match is scheduled for June 12 then in India the same match will be played on 13 June 2025. The matches will be telecasted in early morning in India.
