The state of Tamil Nadu is all set to host the ninth edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League(TNPL) 2025. Featuring a total of eight teams for this edition, the domestic TNPL T20 league will unite cricket fans from June 5 to July 6, with the final match scheduled on the NPR College Ground in Dindigul, spanning five cities across the state. Sponsored by the Shriram Group, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) is responsible for managing and organizing the tournament.

Among these, the 8 TNPL Teams, Chepauk Super Gillies are a team to wait and watch as they stand out as the most successful team of the tournament with four titles in their name. They are the team that tops the chart in every season and boasts a formidable Squad that can turn any match in the team’s favor. The team is full of seasoned veterans and rising stars with experience and a firing talent that possess all the needed energy and experience to lift that special trophy. Their exceptional experience and youthful nature are what set them apart in the world of the TNPL.

Their home ground is the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Hemang Badani serves as the coach, while the captain’s duties for the 2025 season lies with Baba Aparajith. The team launched its logo, jersey, squad anthem, and music video in a grand event in 2017 and has been a dominant force in the TNPL since the league’s inception in 2016.
