Winners List of Women’s Premier League

Women Premier League is an annual women’s Twenty20 cricket tournament that features franchise-based teams for participation. Owned and managed by the Board of Control for Cricket, WPL follows a double round-robin format tournament with playoffs.

The third season of the league is underway and is moving to the conclusion for the ultimate winner of the season. In today’s exploration, we will talk about the winners List of the Women’s Premier League since its inception. Till we have new winners, here is the list of all old season winners.

2023: Mumbai Indians

WPL saw its inaugural season in 2023, and Mumbai Indians etched themselves into the winners list for the inaugural season. In the final, MI faced Delhi Capitals on the grounds of Brabourne.

Batting first, the Capitals posted a total of 131, and coming on the chasing end, the Mumbai Indians finished the chase with 134 and registered a win by 7 wickets.

2024: Royal Challenger Bangalore

The second season of WPL and it got its second winner in RCB. Playing on the grounds of Delhi, RCB was chasing the score put up by Delhi Capitals. Batting first, DC posted a total of 113, which was easily chased by RCB women. 

Delhi Capitals has been the runner-up for both seasons and were high-stake holders of the champions, but in the end, it was MI and RCB who went home with the trophy. And in this 2025 season, DC has maintained its winning streak and has directly qualified for the finals. 

The ongoing season of the 2025 is underway for the finals soon, and this time, RCB, the defending champions, are no longer in the race for the title and have been eliminated with UP Warriorz for the 2025 WPL season
