After the Punjab Kings’ win over the Mumbai Indians at Jaipur’s SMS Stadium on May 26, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer were seen having a fun moment. In a behind-the-scenes video, posted by the franchise on their ‘X’ account, Mumbai Indians ex-skipper Rohit Sharma was caught imitating Shreyas Iyer walk-in style. After imitating the signature walk of Shreyas, the duo can be seen hugging each other and were then spotted joking around. 

Rohit Sharma is known for his calm, funny banters and his forgetfulness and once again with this mimicry of Shreyas Iyer, he gave his fans a glimpse of his funny and Humorous personality.

Mumbai Indians posted the video of the funny interaction between the duo and captioned it as “SHANA RO”. Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer share a solid bond, both on and off the field. Having played side by side for Team India and Mumbai’s domestic team, their chemistry is well-known. In fact, Rohit has often been caught mimicking Iyer’s quirks — and this clip is just another example of their playful dynamic.

Punjab Kings make it to IPL Qualifier 1 

Punjab Kings, who started strong this year, maintained the consistency throughout the season and made it to the playoffs of this season after 11 years. Finishing strong against the Mumbai Indians, they chased down a target of 185 runs with ease and defeated them by 7 wickets. Punjab Kings became the first team to officially secure a Qualifier 1 spot, ending the league stage with 19 points from 14 matches. This win not only helped them to secure a spot in the top 2 but also provided them with an opportunity to qualify for the finals. 

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians missed their last to secure a top 2 berth and ended up in the fourth place. They will now face off with another team in the Eliminator match of the IPL 2025 which is scheduled on May 30.
