Ishan Kishan smashed an amazing century in his debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Rajasthan Royals in the second match of the IPL 2025. The left-hand batter was bought for INR 11.25 crore by SRH in the mega auction, and he proved his worth with 106 runs from 47 balls, including 11 fours and 6 sixes.

Ishan Kishan comes out to bat at number 3 for SRH after Abhishek Sharma got out on 24 runs. After seeing the first couple of deliveries, Ishan started his batting in the SRH trademark style of aggressive batting with smashing boundaries all over the park and hit his first-ever century in the IPL in his first game for SRH.

The 26-year-old scored 106 runs off just 47 balls with a strike rate of 225.53, including 11 fours and 6 sixes. This is his first-ever century in the league. Thanks to his innings, SRH put up a massive total of 286 in 20 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Ishan remains unbeaten in the inning.

Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag won the toss against SRH and elected to bowl first. However, SRH openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head started IPL 2025 where they left off last season. SRH smashed 94 runs in the six-over powerplay with a loss of Abhishek Sharma, who scored 24 runs off 11 balls. With Ishan Kishan’s century and impactful knocks of Nitish Kumar Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen, SRH put up the massive total of 286 against RR.
