In the 12th match of the PSL 2025 between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars, Ubaid Shah struck his teammate Usman Khan while celebrating the wicket of Sam Billings. The video quickly went viral, with fans reacting hilariously to the unexpected celebration.

Ubaid Shah, the right-arm fast-medium bowler of Multan Sultans, took the dangerous-looking Sam Billings on 43 runs on the last ball of the 15th over and celebrated it with his teammates. During the celebration, Ubaid raised his palm and hit Usman Khan’s head mistakenly. After the incident, the medical team of Multan Sultan rushed to the scene to check on Usman. However, he was completely fine and played the full game.

About the match

Multan Sultan defeated Lahore Qalandars by 33 runs in match no. 12 of the PSL 2025, thanks to amazing performances from Yasir Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Ubaid Shah.

While batting first, Multan Sultans put up the score of 228 in 20 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Yasir Khan smashed 87 runs off just 44 balls, including 6 fours and 6 sixes. Mohammed Rizwan and Usman Khan also played good innings in the 30s, while Iftikhar Ahmed gave amazing finishing touches with an unbeaten 40 runs off just 18 balls, including 3 fours and 3 sixes, to set up a 229 target for the Lahore Qalandars. Rishad Hossain took 2 wickets, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Asif Afridi, and Sikandar Raza got 1 each.

While chasing the big target, Lahore Qalandars picked up early wickets of Mohmmad Naeem, Abdullah Shafique, and Daryl Mitchell. However, Fakhar Zaman and Sam Billing played well in the middle with 32 off 144 balls and 43 runs off 23 balls, respectively. Sikandar Raza also played well, scoring fifty in 27 balls, but the team just managed to score 195 in 20 overs and lost the match by 33 runs. Ubaid Shah took 3 wickets, while Usama Mir and Michael Bracewell got 2 each.
