New Zealand tour of India 2026: Full Schedule and Venue announced for the upcoming white ball tour

The BCCI has announced the schedule for the upcoming India-New Zealand series. The schedule would be a promising white ball series set to be played in the initial months of the next year, 2026. The board announced the schedule of the domestic cricket season, and in addition to that, they announced the white ball tour, which will be played before the upcoming T20 World Cup.

India and New Zealand are set to clash in an upcoming limited-overs series. Following their recent face-off in the ICC Champions Trophy Final held in the UAE earlier this year. The tour will begin on January 11 with the ODI format and then will conclude on January 31 with the Twenty-Twenty match between the two. First, the teams will clash in the one-day format and then will fight in the five T20 Matches. 

The squad for the upcoming tour is expected to have Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the ODI format as the two have retired from the T20Is and Tests, and for the T20 format, Suryakumar Yadav is likely to lead the side.

New Zealand tour of India 2026 Series Schedule

The New Zealand tour of India will begin on January 11, featuring a total of three ODIs and five T20Is. The tour will be hosted at different iconic venues in India, one being Baroda, where the ground will host an International match after a gap of 15 years. In the upcoming NZ tour of IND, teams will first get in a battle for three ODIs, and then after completion of the ODI series, they are scheduled to get in 5 5-match Twenty Twenty series. The venues for the ODI include Baroda, Rajkot, and Indore. Meanwhile, the T20 format will be played on the lands of Nagpur, Raipur, Guwahati, Vizag, and Trivandrum.

At present, Team India is in England for a five-match Test series, without the experience of Rohit and Kohli. The opening Test will be played at Headingley, Leeds, starting June 20.
