1.  When he denied Home cooked Biryani

During times of the 2014 Champions League T20 match, when Captain Cool was denied his favorite home-cooked meal. Back in the time, CSK was staying at the Hotel Grand Kakatiya in Hyderabad. The hotel team refused to allow biryani sent by Ambati Raydu, which made Dhoni furious.  As a result, he took a drastic step by moving the entire CSK squad, along with BCCI officials, to a rival hotel, Taj Krishna. This incident reflected that our Captain Cool also lost his temper.

2. Frustration over Yuvraj Singh not leading to second Run

During India’s historical 2011 World Cup final against Sri Lanka, Dhoni lost his cool when Yuvraj Singh denied a second run. As India was chasing the target, Dhoni played a shot toward the long run and expected Yuvraj to take a second run. But Yuvi refused, saying that the second run was way too risky.  Dhoni, eager to keep the strike, was visibly annoyed and made his frustration clear to Yuvraj.

3. When he failed to get attention from the fielder in the deep during 2012

Another incident, when Captain Cool lost his temper was during the Qualifier match between CSK and Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals). Dhoni tried making a connection with the fielder on the boundary but failed at it. After CSK posted a massive total of 222 runs, Dhoni was keen on maintaining focus in the field. When a slow, wide delivery from Dwayne Bravo went past him, Dhoni looked to adjust his field but struggled to catch the attention of a deep fielder. His frustration was pretty much evident from his expression.

4. Over Jadeja during IPL 2020

During the match between CSK and RR at M A Chidambaram stadium, Dhoni was seen losing his temper over Jadeja. In the final over, with Rajasthan needing 27 runs Chris Morris smashed a six off the first ball, which was also a no-ball. On the next delivery, he hit the ball towards deep mid-wicket, where Jadeja was positioned. But he reacted too slowly, which made Captain Cool turn his anger mode on.

5. Furious Over Mike Hussey’s Controversial Recall

During the 2011-12 Tri-Series against Australia, Dhoni got involved in the most heated arguments of his career.  When on the field during the game, Suresh Raina bowled a delivery, and a stumping appeal against Mike Hussey was sent to the third umpire. Following the appeal the result came out as “OUT” but as soon as Mike started going back to the pavilion, the on-field umpires called him back, saying that the decision on board was shown by mistake due to a technical issue.
