The Indian premier League kicks off today at the Eden Gardens with the season opener match between KKR vs RCB. Before the iconic match starts, the broadcasters have brought the match in limelight with the Match fixing rumors around KKR.

The moment of the heat occurred when the technical glitch on the screens predicted the toss winner of today’s match. The fans quickly suspected the moment and it went viral on the internet with the match fixing rumors before the match started sparking a heated controversy around the match.

Is the KKR vs RCB match fixed?

Seeing the toss results during the live broadcast of the league’s opener match, the match is in the heated debate around match-fixing accusations. The incident took place before the actual toss of the match was about to take place when Anant Tyagi, the match presenter, was present on the ground alongside several cricket pundits.

The graphics and broadcasting team displayed the toss results, showing that KKR had won the toss and elected to bat first. It was soon that the team realised the mistake and removed the graphics quicker than anyone could realise. However, fans with eagle eyes noticed it and sparked their outrage on “X” accusing BCCI of being biased and supporting KKR.

Fans reaction over the Fixing Rumors

Fans quickly noticed the Toss results and showed up on X bringing their disappointment and anger on the platform against the BCCI. A user wrote, , “IS IPL FIXED?? HUGE MISTAKE BY @IPL! The scorecard was shown by mistake, which can be ignored, but it had THE TOSS RESULT WRITTEN ON IT… Match fixing or human error?”

While another reacted saying, Lol people Started Crying Over This Itna koi Kaise Ho Sakta hai ? No wonder RCB Fans kyun Hai

IPL Fixed Lol.

However, when the actual toss took place, it dispelled the match-fixing speculation, as RCB won the toss—contradicting the pre-match graphic that had been displayed earlier.
