India’s Tour of Bangladesh 2025: BCCI Announces Schedule for ODIs and T20Is

The Board of Control for cricket in India has officially announced the Men In Blue’s Bangladesh tour details. The team is set to visit Bangladesh for three ODIs and three T20Is in the month of August 2025.

Team India will tour Bangladesh for white ball cricket action where the ODI series will begin on August 16 and conclude on August 23 respectively and the T20I series will begin on August 26 with the last match on August 31. The matches will be split between Mirpur and Chattogram, kicking off on August 17 and wrapping up on August 31. 

BCB Chief Executive Officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury expressed his excitement about the upcoming series, stating: “This series promises to be one of the most exciting and most anticipated events in our home calendar.

“India have set the benchmark in international cricket across all formats and the cricket-loving millions in both countries are sure to enjoy this contest. Bangladesh and India have played some very competitive matches in recent years, and I am confident that this will be another hard-fought and entertaining series.”

This is the first instance when Bangladesh will host India in a bilateral series at home for a Twenty20 international series. Earlier than this, the last bilateral series between the two teams took place in 2024, when Bangladesh toured India and the hosts secured a comfortable 3-0 victory. In their last ODI series clash in 2022, India visited Bangladesh and suffered a 2-1 defeat.

Before the Bangladesh tour, India will be touring England for a five-match Test series in June and July.
