Team India remains undefeated throughout the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The team started their road to the title by defeating Bangladesh by 6 wickets and beat rivals Pakistan in their second match by the same 6 wickets. The team finished at the top of the Group A points table, beating New Zealand in the last league game by 44 runs. In the semi-final, they defeated Australia by 4 wickets comfortably at the end and defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets to win their second ICC Champions Trophy. 

Shreyas Iyer finished as the top run getter for India with 243 runs in 5 matches with an average of 48.60, while Varun Chakravarthy wrote his comeback story with an absolutely brilliant performance with the ball.
