India U19 squad for Tour of England announced: Ayush Mhatre to Lead, Vaibhav Suryavanshi Included

The Junior Cricket Committee has picked India’s U19 for the upcoming tour of England, scheduled from June 24 to July 23, 2025. The tour comprises a 50-over warm-up match, followed by a five-match Youth One-Day series and two Multi-Day matches against England U19.

One of the emerging stars of the IPL 2025, Ayush Mhatre, will lead the team in U19 team in England. The 17-year-old has scored 206 runs in 6 matches for Chennai Super Kings with an average of 34.33 and a strike rate of 187.27. The right-hand batter has shown his skills batting as an opener for the five-time champion team and has become one of the key performers for them in the second half of the league.
On the other hand, the 14-year-old sensation of IPL 2025, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, also earned a place in the U19 Indian team for the England tour. The left-hand batter has played a total of 7 matches for Rajasthan Royals, scoring 252 runs with an average of 36.00 and a strike rate of 206.55. Vaibhav also smashed a century against Lucknow Super Giants to become the youngest centurion of the Indian Premier League. He smashed 101 runs off just 38 balls in the match. Now he will aim to dominate England at their home.
