In the 13th over of the 53rd match of IPL 2025 against KKR, Riyan Parag hit five sixes in a row off Moeen Ali. Shimron Hetmyer took a single on the first ball he faced and gave the strike to Parag. The right-handed batter then smashed four consecutive sixes, the first over deep square leg, the second over long-on, the third over square leg again, and the fourth over long-on. Moeen bowled a wide on the sixth delivery, and Riyan smashed the final legal ball of the over for another six, making it five sixes in a row on legal deliveries.
However, he didn’t stop there. Hetmyer gave him the strike again by taking a single on the first ball of the next over. On the second ball of the 14th over, Parag hit another six, completing six sixes in six consecutive balls and writing his name into the IPL history books.
