The duo featured in a Goibibo ad campaign around hotel pricing during the IPL and recreated the commentary notes of Sunil Gavaskar from the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.

Sunil Gavaskar criticized Pant for getting out trying to play a fancy shot during the MCG test. “Stupid, stupid, stupid!” are the words that Gavaskar had aggressively said when Pant got out on 28 in the 4th Test, leaving India wobbling at 191/6.

That is throwing away your wicket. Not in the situation that India was in. You have to understand the situation as well. You cannot say that that’s your natural game. Earlier where Gavaskar Criticised Pant for the shot, in this promotional video Pant is seen mimicking the “Stupid, Stupid, Stupid” remarks of Sunil with a smirk on his face, over booking hotel rooms.
