Former Indian captain MS Dhoni and batter Suresh Raina were seen dancing at the wedding of Rishabh Pant’s sister in Mussoorie on Tuesday, March 11. In a viral video circulating on social media, both former cricketers are enjoying facing off against the famous songs “Naatu Naatu” and “Dama dam mast kalandar.”

Rishabh Pant, who was a part of the Indian squad that won the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai, returns home with the title to attend his sister’s wedding. The left-handed batter took part in various wedding ceremonies like mehendi, sangeet, and haldi.

Pant’s sister Sakshi got engaged last year and is set to tie the knot this week in Mussoorie. Many prominent Indian cricketers like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are expected to attend the wedding function.

Videos of MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina dancing at Rishabh Pant’s sister’s wedding have taken the internet by storm, spreading joy among fans. According to the reports, many more crickets are also set to join the celebrations in Mussoorie. Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir is also expected to attend.

MS Dhoni to use lighter bats in IPL 2025

According to New India Express, MS Dhoni might use lighter bats in IPL 2025, weighing around 1230 grams. Previously, he used bats weighing between 1250 and 1300 grams. “Four bats have been delivered to Dhoni recently by Sanspareils Greenlands Pvt. Ltd., the cricket equipment company from Meerut,” the report said. 

Lesser weight bats can help Dhoni to hit shots easily. Notably, the right-handed batter is a 43-year-old who has retired from international cricket in 2020. Now he is going to play one more season for CSK. 

MS Dhoni will be in action in the 3rd match of the IPL 2025 between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians on 23 March at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
