Came out to bat at number four; Rajat Patidar was in red-hot form. The right-handed batter takes on MI bowlers with his effortless hitting and smashes 64 runs off 32 balls, including 5 fours and 4 sixes. Thanks to his outstanding inning, Virat Kohli’s 67 off 42 balls and Jitesh Sharma’s unbeaten 40 off 19 balls, RCB set the target of 222 for the Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 20th game of the IPL 2025 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Hardik announced the return of Jasprit Bumrah and Rohit Sharma, while RCB went with the same squad.

At the end of the power play, RCB smashed 73 runs with the loss of 1 wicket. Both continued their attack after the power play. However, MI’s find of this year, Vignesh Puthur, gets Padikkal on 37 runs off 22 balls, and Hardik Pandya removes Virat Kohli on 67 runs off 42 balls and Liam Livingstone on a 2-ball duck in the same over to bring MI back into the game.
