Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson is doubtful for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The right-handed batter retired out on 31 off 19 balls against Delhi Capitals following a side issue. Ahead of the match against Rishabh Pant and co, Royals’ head coach Rahul Dravid stated that the team is awaiting the scan results, and Samson’s participation will be decided based on those findings. Following the injury sustained during their recent game against Delhi Capitals (DC), Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson underwent medical scans and has been ruled out of the subsequent match against Lucknow Super Giants.
Sanju Samson’s Recovery Report update
Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson is currently undergoing recovery and will remain at the team’s home base with select RR medical staff. As part of his ongoing rehab process, he will not be travelling to Bangalore for the upcoming match against RCB. The team management is monitoring his progress closely and will take a game-by-game approach regarding his return to action.
RR’s performance hasn’t been up to the mark in the ongoing IPL 2025 so far. In a total of eight matches, RR have managed to win just two matches which has seen them reeling at the eighth spot in the IPL 2025 points table.
