Mohammed Siraj dismantles RCB batting lineup with fiery spell at Chinnaswamy

Ex-RCB star takes 3/19 for GT, dismantling top order at Chinnaswamy.

The match 13 is underway at the M Chinnaswamy where Royal Challengers Bengaluru is facing Gujarat Titans. Playing for the Gujarat Titans, Mohammed Siraj brought an exemplary innings against his former team. He picked up early wickets of RCB top batting order and set the pace for his teams to ride with confidence in further match innings presenting a challenge to Challengers Bengaluru.

Siraj, who was released by RCB last year in the IPL Mega Auction, took two important wickets in the powerplay, including Phil Salt’s shattering stumps, immediately after Phil’s six, bringing his Siraj Aura to the field, dismantling wickets.

Siraj cleans up RCB batters at former home ground, M. Chinnaswamy 

Mohammed Siraj, who made his comeback at his former home ground today, not just made a comeback but also cleaned up the batting order in the powerplay. Siraj picked up two wickets in the powerplay, taking wickets of Devdutt Padikkal and Phil Salt. RCB ended with a four-wicket loss before even reaching fifty team total in the powerplay.

Siraj continued to haunt RCBs batting order and then again dismissed set batter Liam Livinngstone. The event unfolded in the over when Liam was riding on high batting energy, Siraj dismissed him with a Short and outside off and a straight catch to wicketkeeper hands.

Mohammed Siraj delivered an impressive spell, bowling his full quota of four overs he conceded just 19 runs. Taking three wickets for his team he maintained tight control over his line and length restricting batters to make a big impact.
