The recovery period for Mayank Yadav has been successful and the BCCI has cleared him to play. However the final decision of his inclusion in the squad remains with the LSG coaching staff. As per the reports now he should return to the Lucknow Super Giants squad to face Rajasthan Royals during their April 19 match.
22-year-old Mayank Yadav was expected to return by the second week of April, but his recovery got delayed. LSG coach Justin Langer said he hurt his toe by accidentally kicking his bed. As per My Khel, Mayank is now likely to play against Rajasthan Royals on April 19 in Jaipur.
“He is fighting fit and should be raring to go now,” a source was quoted as saying to the website. His comeback will enhance LSG’s fast bowling division while adding more offence to their bowling scheme during an important upcoming stage of the season.
