Lucknow Super Giants rope in William O’Rourke as Mayank Yadav replacement

In a significant development around the game, Lucknow Super Giants star bowler Mayank has been ruled out of the season as he sustained a back injury. Now, for the remainder of the season, LSG has signed William O’Rourke as his replacement. 

“Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have roped in New Zealand pacer, William O’Rourke, as an injury replacement for Mayank Yadav. Yadav sustained a back injury and is ruled out for the remainder of the season”. Franchise said. Mayank Yadav has missed the earlier of the LSG matches for this IPL 2025 Season due to a back injury, and now again he has sustained a back injury. The franchise has opted for William O’Rourke as his replacement and has gained his services at a reserve price of INR 3 crore.

Mayank Yadav has only been part of the two matches for the Lucknow Super Giants this season, as earlier he was unfit due to injury, and soon when he started to make an innings in his name, he again has been ruled out of the season due to a back injury.
