IPL 2025: What will happen if the KKR vs RCB match is washed out?
If the KKR vs RCB match is washed out, both teams will get 1 point each, which means RCB will qualify for the playoffs with 17 points, while KKR will be knocked out of the tournament with 12 points in 13 matches. So, KKR will only manage to reach 14 points if they win their last league match, which will not be enough to qualify for the playoffs of IPL 2025.
On the other hand, RCB will reach 17 points in 12 matches, and they will aim to finish in the top 2, winning at least one out of their remaining two matches.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are currently sitting in the 2nd position in the points table with eight wins in 11 matches. They are almost qualified for the playoffs with 16 points already, now their main aim will be to finish in the top 2. However, there are some concerns for the team with the availability of players like Josh Hazlewood, Jacob Bethel, and the captain himself, Rajat Patidar.
After losing the last match to Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders can’t reach the 16-point mark. The team is currently standing in 16th place with 11 points in 12 matches. They need to win both of their remaining matches and rely on the outcome of other matches to secure a spot in the top four.
