IPL 2025: B Praak to perform in Dharamsala as BCCI honors Armed Forces during PBKS vs DC game

The Board of Control for Cricket in India will pay tribute to the Indian Armed Forces for their contribution to the country’s safety and security ahead of the IPL clash between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals on Thursday. As a part of the tribute, singer B Praak will deliver a live performance celebrating the spirit and bravery of the armed forces.

“Dharamshala, get ready to sing with pride! B Praak brings the nation’s sound on a night of patriotism and notes echoing India’s spirit. With soulful melodies and powerful anthems, unite to celebrate our great culture. “A tribute to the heart of Bharat,” read a statement from the IPL. The live ceremony will begin at 6:30 PM at the HPCA stadium before the toss of the match. B Praak will take the center of the stage and will perform a special musical tribute to honor our brave armed forces, with his powerful anthems and heartfelt melodies.

The tribute follows the Indian army’s strong response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, in a carefully planned mission named, Operation Sindoor. Indian forces carried out the attack and reportedly struck nine terror camps across POK and Line of Control in Pakistan. 

Earlier than this celebration, BCCI has also paid tribute to the Indian forces in the KKR vs CSK clash at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.“Proud of the Indian Armed Forces,” read a message on a digital screen behind the KKR and CSK players while the national anthem was being played. Both teams’ players stood shoulder to shoulder along with members of the support staff as well as match officials.
