Virat played his first ever ICC event semi-final in the Cricket World Cup 2011 against Pakistan, where he scored 9 runs of 21 balls. After this inning, the Delhi-born player has scored a match-winning 58 runs off 64 balls in his second semi-final against Sri Lanka in the Champions Trophy 2013.
