The Kerala Cricket League (KCL) 2025 is all set to return for its second season, promising another exciting chapter in domestic T20 Cricket. Scheduled to take place from August 22 to September 7, the tournament will once again Showcase Kerala’s finest cricketing talent. Organized by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA), KCL Season 2 will feature six franchises, including Kollam Sailors, Calicut Globstars, Alleppey Ripples, Kochi Blue Tigers, Thrissur Titans, and Trivandrum Royals.
Notably, Indian star Sanju Samson is also expected to join the T20 action this year. In its inaugural season, 114 players were selected from a pool of 168, with each team spending around 40 Lakhs at the auction. The Kollam Sailors, captained by Sachin Baby, emerged victorious in the first season, defeating the Calicut Globstars in the final.

The KCL 2025 Auction is set to bring a fresh face to the domestic T20 season and will also provide them with a spotlight as franchises prepare to build competitive squads for the second season. The KCL Auction is scheduled for the 5th July 2025 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala where a team can acquire a maximum of 20 players and a minimum of 16 players with an Auction purse of 50 Lakhs per Franchise.
