Shubman Gill, just 25 years old, has been named the new Test captain. With a Zero Test captaincy Record, Shubman Gill has never led India in a test match before and now will lead the team in the upcoming five-match Test series against England as his first assignment as a captain for Indian in Whites.
He has made his captaincy debut for India in the shorter format and has performed pretty well.
