Fans across the nation have their fingers crossed for the big today as the Final of the Champions Trophy is scheduled for 9 March 2025.  Fans are already with their prayers for the win, and among those Indian cricket supporters were seen performing Havan at the Radha Madhav temple in Kanpur.

Supporters of the team were seen performing the spiritual Havan with the posters of Indian cricketers, including those of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Mohammad Shami, and clutch master Hardik Pandy, with the Indian flag in their hands. Along with the posters, a  Bat helmet and gloves were placed in front of the havan kund and were also worshipped.

Prayers in Queue for the Big Win

In Kolkata, Arijit Majumder, an NCA level II coach, said, “If I speak from the heart, I am positive that India will win. Technically, the match will be good. The combination in both teams is nice… The bigger cricketers like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are well aware of what they need to do; they need not be told…”

Another fan, Suyas Gupta, said, India does not need any introduction when it comes to cricket. We will definitely win. We hope the team heals our wounds from the 2019 Semi-Finals.

Meanwhile, Mubir Alam, uncle of cricketer Mohammad Shami, said, “I pray for the victory of India. India has won all the matches in the series so far, so they will win the finals as well…Shami has taken most of the wickets…the trophy will come to India.”

Along with these, all Indian Cricket fan communities are praying with all they can and are seen performing traditional “Aarti” for the win as per their spiritual beliefs

Champions Trophy Final 2025

The final of the champions trophy is set to be played today, where the Indian team will be taking on the New Zealand team in the final clash for the trophy. The match will be played at the Dubai International Stadium at 2:30 PM today.

Both the teams have showcased a spectacular performance for the whole of the tournament and now are moving for the ultimate battle. For the past record, both the teams have faced each other in the final of 2000 season, where Chris Cairns scored an unbeaten century and defeated the Indian side chasing the total of 265.

Coming into the clash for the ultimate win, let’s see which teams make it to the home trophy and which one goes empty-handed. Keep your prayers locked in for India.
