The 37-year-old is all set to feature in one more final against New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on March 9. Rohit Sharma has featured in a total of eight ICC events semi-finals and scored 246 runs.

Rohit Sharma played his first ICC final in the T20 World Cup 2007, where he played an impactful inning of 30 runs off just 16 at lower down the order, including 2 fours and 1 six. Thanks to his innings, India managed to put up a total of 157 and eventually won the match by 5 runs. 

The whole ICC Champions Trophy 2013 campaign for Rohit Sharma as an opener was outstanding, but he failed to deliver in the finals and got out on 9 runs off 14 balls. He played his third ICC final in the 2014 T20 World Cup, where he scored 29 runs off 26 balls, including 3 fours.

Chasing the big target of 338 in the 2017 Champions Trophy final, Rohit Sharma got out to Amir on a three-ball duck. In the WTC 2021 final, the right-hand batter scored 34 runs in the first inning and got out on 30 in the second inning. In the 2023 WTC final, he managed to put up only 15 runs in the first inning and scored fighting 43 runs off 60 balls in the second inning. 

In the Cricket World Cup 2023 final, Rohit Sharma played an aggressive inning of 47 runs off just 31 balls, including 4 fours and 3 sixes. He played the whole World Cup in the same tempo and continued the same aggressive approach in the final. He scored 9 runs off 5 balls, including 2 fours, in the T20 World Cup 2024 final.
