WTC 2025-27 Points Table

The World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 is the fourth edition of the ICC’s Test cricket league. The WTC was created to bring more excitement and meaning to Test cricket by providing teams with an international platform to compete and reach the final, competing for the ultimate trophy and also for being the number one Test team during that period of the cycle. Administered by the International Cricket Council.  The inauguration of the WTC took place back in 2019-2021, with the latest edition running from 2023 to 2025. This test tournament follows a league and final format that features a total of nine teams competing in the ongoing edition.

In this cycle, nine top cricket nations, including Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies, will be participating in a mix of home and away Test Series. Each team plays six series, earning points based on the match result. A win gives 12 points, a tie earns 6 points, a draw gives 4 points, and a loss gives no points. The top two teams on the points table with the greatest points percentage or PCT will meet for the final in 2027.
