Why is Rohit Sharma not playing against LSG?

Captain Hardik Pandya revealed a shocking update at the toss, confirming that Rohit Sharma, who had an ordinary start to IPL 2025, is not playing against LSG due to an injury. As per the captain, Rohit got hit in the knee during the net session and is not available for the match.

At the toss, Hardik said, “Looks like a fresh wicket; not sure how it will play.” Chances of dew also played a part in his decision. MI doesn’t want to talk about the pitch and just wants to “play good cricket.” It is tempting to watch other teams and play in a certain way, but it is important to play sensibly.
