Rohit has become a centre of the controversies, first for the undue advantage over the single venue, then for the fitness issues and now for the misfield.
The trolling started after Rohit Sharma missed the catch of Daryll Mitchell despite bringing his best efforts. Incident rolled in the 35th over of first innings, when Daryll Mitchell was trying to stable the pace with Glenn Phillips.

Coming over the wicket, Patel delivered a sharp arm ball on a good length. Mitchell went for a powerful shot over the in-field, but Rohit Sharma reacted swiftly at short mid-wicket, making a valiant attempt at a stunning catch, but missed it.
After the missed catch, Rohit became viral, and fans started trolling him.
Following this attempt, Rohit earned praise for his other attempt where he caught Mitchell, but now Shami was on the bowler’s hand. Mitchell, who was looking to add more runs, tried the ball for a cover drive. But this time, Rohit watched and positioned perfectly. He took some steps back and took it easily over his head.
