Virat Kohli announced his retirement on Monday and then flew to Vrindavan to seek blessings from Premanand ji Maharaj. Following the short trip, Kohli was confronted by Paparazzi at the Mumbai airport who expressed their disappointment over his retirement announcement. In a video now going viral on the Internet, Paps can be seen confronting Virat Kohli outside the airport regarding his decision to retire from Test Cricket.
In the video, Virat is coming out of the airport with his wife Anushka Sharma where Media person, started to question Kohli about his retirement and even asked him to reverse the decision like any of his fans.
Sir, aapne Galat kiya, retirement kyu lia? Ab hum cricket hi nhi dekhenge. Said one of the paparazzi, while other said Ab Main cricket hi nahi dekhunga ab, Test cricket ap ke lie hi dekhta tha main’
The rant continued as one of them again repeated: “Sir, ab hum cricket nahi dekhenge, hum aapke liye cricket dekhte they (Sir, we will not watch cricket again, we used to watch it because of you).”
“Wait karenge aapka, bas ab ODIs dekhenge (We’ll wait for you to play in the ODIs). Is baar RCB jeetega (RCB will win IPL this time around).”
Virat gave them a thumbs up before shutting the door of his car and promised the paps to give them a photo next time.

The couple visited the Premanand Govind Sharanji Maharaj a day after Kohli announced his retirement from the format. They spent three hours at the Ashram before returning to Mumbai.

His journey has been a long consistent and full of remarkable milestones, He has played a total of 123 Tests—68 of them as captain for India—scoring 9230 runs with an average of 46.85, including 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries. He is regarded as one of India’s best Test captains and is credited with changing the attitude and culture of the team during his leadership.
