Pakistan Super League (PSL) team, Multan Sultan, who is led by Mohammad Rizwan, is facing strong criticism on the internet for their promotional video ahead of the PSL 2025 season. The franchise has used the voice of Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma in the video, which sparked the trigger among fans. Notably, this comes after the former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg made remarks about the English of Mohammad Rizwan.

In the promotional video, Multan Sultan’s mascot, Saeen, sitting next to the IPL 2025 trophy, uses a Rohit Sharma audio clip from his press conference after winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In the video, Rohit says, “Aap mujhe pucho kitna wo lagta hai ye jitne ke liye” (Ask me how much it takes to win the title).

However, the use of Rohit Sharma’s voice in Multan Sultans’ promotional video did not sit well with fans and sparked controversy on the internet.

A user, Rathin Dutta X, called this video a shameful act. He wrote, “Gonna report this. This is a shameful act.”

Another user, Enam Bhatkar, urged to remove the video, “It is highly inappropriate for these individuals to utilize the voice of the Indian captain in the dubbing. This behavior is unacceptable, and we urge the immediate removal of this video. @BCCI, we request your intervention.”

A user named Shiva called it a disgusting act. He wrote, “Disgusting. What else can one expect from these people?
