MS Dhoni, known for his tactical brilliance from behind the wicket, has pulled off an outstanding run-out from behind the wicket to send back danger-looking Abdul Samad to the pavilion. Even at 43, Dhoni proves he’s still a master behind the stumps in match no. 30 of the IPL 2025 against the home team, Lucknow Super Giants.

In the 20th over of the first inning, Matheesha Pathirana bowls to Abdul Samad; he misses it, and the ball goes to MS Dhoni behind the stumps, but both batters try to steal the run. MS Dhoni collects the ball and lobs it over the running Samad’s head to directly hit the stumps. This is one of the best fielding performances this season.
