Watch: Mohammad Shami sends Aiden Markram for just 1 Run

The stage is set for another exciting clash in the ongoing Indian Premier League. Today, Sunrisers Hyderabad are taking on Rishabh Pant at their home ground in the Hyderabad stadium.  It is a big game for LSG as the team is coming after their opener match defeat against Delhi Capitals. The team is eyeing a win against SRH and if they win it would be a big  morale-booster against the aggressive SRH unit.

Winning the toss, LSG opted for fielding allowing SRH to come on the batting side. Team opened with Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma while Shardul opened the bowling attack for Lucknow.

Batting first, Sunrisers were limited to a total of 190 with an incredible bowling from the Lucknow bowlers. Shardul Thakur made an impact for the LSG, who earlier dismissed Abhishek Sharma in his second over of the innings, and followed by Abhishek’s dismissal, he sent off Kishan in the next delivery. Dropping two fiery batters of SRH, Shardul provided a great start to his team.

Following in his footsteps, coming for the fielding SRH start, Mohammad Shami made an early impact for his team, where he dismissed Aiden Markram of LSG for a single run. Bowling the second over of the innings, Shami delivered a length ball outside off, tempting Markram to drive on the rise. However, the batter missed the shot and the ball went straight into the hands of Pat Cummins at mid-off.

Achieving the feat early for his team, Shami couldn’t hold his delight as he secured the much-needed breakthrough for the team, who today couldn’t put their much-expected 250+ runs on the board. Markram walked back after scoring just 1 off 4 balls, giving the opposition an early advantage.
