Ashish Nehra, former India cricket and head coach of the Gujarat Titans, loses his cool after the dismissal of Surfane Rutherford in the 9th match of the IPL 2025 against the Mumbai Indians. Rutheford came out to bat at number 5 and scored 18 runs off 11 balls, and the Gujarat Titans put up a total of 196 at Narendra Modi Stadium against MI.

Ashish Nehra, who is often known for his calmness as a coach, was seen getting angry and screaming in the match after the dismissal of Sherfane Rutherford. After hitting two sixes, Rutherford falls into the trap of Deepak Chahar’s wide-length ball, and he hits it straight to the fielder’s hand at the boundary. The reaction of Deepak and captain Hardik Pandya said they successfully executed the plan against the power hitter. 

However, Ashish Nehra did not like the way the left-hander got out and did not stay at the crease till the last over. Notably, Rutherford also struggled against the Punjab Kings to finish the match well.
