Varun Chakravarthy Trolls Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed with ‘Taste of Cup’ post after CT Win

India’s long awaited Champions Trophy cup has been sealed in the ICC Trophy Cupboard. The Rohit led team has finally lifted the coveted trophy after a wait of 12 years. Playing against New Zealand, Men In Blue won the Final of the tournament at Dubai International stadium.

Varun Chakatvarthy has played an important role in the Champions trophy, from taking fifers to taking the most crucial wickets, this engineer cum Cricketer has proved his spot in the Squad for the Champions trophy.

His impactful innings made him a favorite during the tournament and now post win, the spinner is yet again in the eyes of the public but this time not for his Bowling skills but for his humorous side. Taking a dig at Pakistani Cricketer, Abrar Ahmed, Varun posted a cheeky caption on Instagram sharing his celebration pictures.

Sharing his celebration images post champions trophy win, Varun posted his pictures where he was seen sipping coffee. With a cup in one hand and a Trophy in the other, Varun was enjoying both the view and the brew. Captioning the picture, “A lot of distance was travelled to get a taste of this Cup !!😉😉”

Soon as he shared pictures of him, he went a topic of Digital Buzz, some fans felt that Varun Chakarvarhty’s post was a dig at Pakistan’s spinner Abrar Ahmed who earlier posted a picture of him,  with a caption “last cup of Fantastic evening tea,” mocking Indian Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman’s case.

Varun’s this post, is also a dig at all those who were involved in the controversy around India having an undue advantage while playing at a single venue for all of its Champions Trophy Matches.
