It was an evening of records for the uncapped player Priyansh Arya tonight. He first got a lifeline, and then he took the lifeline to another book of records, smashing his IPL career best batting figures. He first hit the fastest IPL fifty in just 19 balls and then scored a Century for just 39 balls.

Winning the toss, PBKS opted to bat first and opened with Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran. He opened the innings hitting Khaleel for a six on the first delivery and joined the elite list of players to make that spell beside Kohli. However he mistimed the second delivery but got a lifeline which later proved to be an expensive mistake for CSK.
