The Pearl of Africa T20I 2025 is set to light up Uganda from July 17 to 27, 2025, featuring 18 matches. Organised and managed by Uganda Cricket Association (UCA), this is the second edition of the tournament after a successful debut in 2021. The tournament, along with 18 matches, features men’s national teams from Namibia(A), the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nigeria, and Kenya.  The teams will compete in a thrilling double round-robin format. Uganda is the defending champion and will look to protect its title on home soil this season.

This tournament brings together strong sides from ICC CWC League 2 and ICC CWC Challenge League, providing an opportunity to prepare ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup regional qualifier. Fans can expect some of the first-time matchups like Kenya and Uganda facing UAE in T20Is for the first time, with talented squads and passionate players, the Pearl of Africa T20I 2025 promises to be competitive high energy cricket where the teams with less popularity of the game will try to hook attention from the rest of the world.

Pearl of Africa T20, 2025: Teams and Captains

Four teams will play against one another first in the double round robin stage in a total of 18 matches for the season. Kuwait Team, who were originally announced as a participant, has withdrawn from participating in the event, and Nigeria Team have replaced them in the tournament. The league will feature a diverse mix of teams from different domestic leagues around the world. As of present, no captains have been named so far and soon the organizers will announce the team squads and captains for the 2025 season till then one can check out the other details of the Pearl of Africa T20 2025 season.

Venue of the Pearl of Africa T20, 2025 

All matches of the Pearl of Africa T20 2025 will be played at the Entebbe Cricket Oval, Entebbe, Uganda. This venue will host every league stage, group stage and then playoff stage, bringing fans an exciting treat to watch. From the opening match on July 17 to the grand finale on July 27 at the same ground fans can enjoy thrilling T20 Action of the cricket under lights.
