Shikhar Dhawan makes Entertainment debut with music video ‘Besos’ featuring Jacqueline Fernandez

Shikhar Dhawan is all set to win his fans’ hearts all over again, but this time it’s not the on-field batting skills but in front of the camera. Known as ‘Gabbar’, Shikhar will now make his entertainment debut with a music album named ‘Besos’, where he will be seen in collaboration with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. The duo will collaborate for the first time, and fans are really excited to see the on screen presence of their favorite cricketer.

The news of the two sharing a screen together has created a buzz among fans, and they can’t wait to see the duo in the upcoming track. Sharing the details of the upcoming project, the duo took to Instagram and shared a poster of the upcoming track, Besos, and captioned it as, “A spark of pop, a swirl of passion! Are you ready for #Besos? Teaser Out Tomorrow only on @playdmfofficial YouTube Channel! Full Song Out on 8th May at 11AM IST!”

The track has been described as funky, virant and full of flair and is named as Besos. Set to be released on May 8, 2025 on YouTube. The teaser of the song was released on May 6. The song is expected to be more than just a catchy tune—it brings high energy and could mark a new journey for Dhawan as he steps into entertainment. While this isn’t Dhawan’s first time in showbiz—he had a short role in the 2022 film Double XL—Besos is said to be his biggest on-screen appearance so far. The song is sung by Singer Shreya Ghosal and Karl Wine. In the released poster, Shikhar Dhawan can be seen standing alongside Bollywood actress Jacqueline with the details of the song and singer and others.

Shikhar aka Gabbar retired officially last year and has played a total of 34 Tests, 167 ODIs, 68 T20Is, and scored 10,867 runs in international cricket. Additionally, he has accumulated a total of 6769 runs in the 222 IPL matches he has played.
