Rohit Sharma gifts his ₹4 Crore Personal Lamborghini Urus to Dream 11 contest winner

Rohit Sharma, Mumbai Indians’ explosive batter, has turned headlines to him but this time not with the bat or bowl nor even with his comedy banters but with a heartfelt gesture that left his fans speechless and in Awe. On May 19, Rohit handed over his ₹4 Crore Personal Lamborghini Urus to a fantasy contest winner, fulfilling an IPL ad promise that he made to his fans during IPL 2025 Dream 11 ad. 

The Lamborghini Urus is a special tribute to Rohit’s record-breaking 264-run innings against Sri Lanka in 2014. Bearing a distinctive ‘0264’ number plate, the car has been a symbol of his illustrious career and a living tribute to his highest ever in ODI Cricket. On Monday, the captain kept his word and, as promised, gifted his blue beast to the lucky winner with a smile on his face.

In the video, Rohit is seen clicking pictures with the winner and meanwhile in a funny banter he asked the winner Wagh, “Konala Captain kela hota?” (Whom did you make the captain?), to which Wagh replied, “Sunil Narine.”

At the beginning of the IPL 2025, Rohit had featured in a Dream11 ad campaign in which he declared that he would gift his Lamborghini to a lucky contest winner. The video is featured in two parts. In the first part, Rohit can be seen announcing the gift for the winner. The other part of the video showed Rohit in a sad mood after losing his prized possession. The advertisement ended with Rohit Sharma getting into an autorickshaw and asking the driver to go by the meter. And just like he said, the Indian captain kept his promise and gifted his favorite car to a lucky fan.

Rohit Sharma’s act was more than just giving away a car—it was a heartfelt tribute to the bond he shares with his fans. It showed his sincerity in keeping promises and his gratitude towards the sport that shaped his journey. Earlier than this actually happened, viewers and fans were in confusion whether the car would be Rohit’s Lambo or a new Lambo would be given. But on Monday, the captain cleared all air and gifted his car to Wagh, the Dream11 Contest winner.
