Rajasthan Royals Light Up in All-Pink for Special ‘Pink Promise’ Match Against MI

Rajasthan Royals will  face Mumbai Indians at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Thursday. Taking on the field, Rajasthan Royals were seen decked up in the all pink head-to-toe outfit for the match. This isn’t your usual Thursday IPL Match, it’s their special Franchise Flagship ‘Pink Promise Match ‘ day. This is an initiative by franchise to celebrate women empowerment and their contribution in transformation of Rural Rajasthan.

Announcing the special initiative, Franchise took to its social media post and announced the special jersey occasion for the day. The Royals will don an all-pink jersey in today’s match, as mentioned in the post. RR announced: “Today goes beyond the match result. Today is special. Today is our #PinkPromise game!” And it certainly is.

Rajasthan Royals known for their social initiatives and giving platform to local talent announced the special ‘Pink Promise’ for the day. RR has taken a special initiative to support women and their contribution in the rural transformation in Rajasthan.

As part of the Pink Promise day initiative, every six hit during the match will power six rural homes in the Sambhar region with solar energy. The solar power initiative is not just a symbolic move—it also encourages the use of clean energy in a practical way.

Along with spreading awareness, Rajasthan Royals will donate ₹100 from each match ticket sold to support women-led development projects across Rajasthan. These efforts are part of the Royal Rajasthan Foundation (RRF). Additionally, money raised from the sale of the special Pink Promise jerseys will also help fund these community programs.
