Rachin Ravindra receives hate messages for not letting MS Dhoni hit winning runs vs MI

Rachin Ravindra who shared the crease for the first time with MS Dhoni against MI is now facing hate messages for not letting Dhoni finish off the innings for winning runs against MI. During Match 3 of the IPL 2025, CSK needed just four runs to win and that was the moment MS Dhoni entered on the field after the dismissal of Ravindra Jadeja.

To be able to see, Dhoni batting live on the ground is what fans seek from every CSK match of the Indian Premier League. He is the hope for thousands and millions of fans who are glued to their television sets just to see Dhoni finish the innings with a winning Six. CSK vs MI last night was a perfect occasion for the winning six of MS Dhoni, but fans couldn’t witness the moment as the last winning hit came from Rachin Ravindra’s bat who stood strong from start to end of the CSK innings paving the way for the CSK victory.

But that wasn’t enough for MS Dhoni fans as they started to show their anger towards Ravindra, filling his inbox with hate messages for not letting Dhoni score the winning runs.

Hate Messages for Rachin Ravindra

In the run chase, Dhoni arrived at the perfect time. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) needed just four runs to win. But, Dhoni played two dot balls in the penultimate over and exchanged the strike with set batter Rachin Ravindra finishing the run chase with a six. While the crowd at MA Chidambaram Stadium wanted to see Dhoni finish in style, it was Ravindra who did it and the fans Seeing this, targeted Rachin and filled up his comment section with abusive messages, like;

“Maahi Bhai ko strike kyu nhi di be,”

Bhai single de deta toh kiya chala jaata tera” and many more taking out their anger on the player who only intended to finish the game for a win in CSK Favor.

However, there were a few comments praising Ravindra for his innings and asking him to ignore the abusive messages.

Talking in a post-win match conference, Ravindra admitted saying, “All the crowd would have been hoping that I gave him [the strike] and finished the game, and he would have finished it. But it’s just about getting the job done. He’s finished so many games to CSK, and I’m sure there’s plenty more to come.”
