Mumbai Indians are set to face Gujarat Titans in a DO-or-Die clash on Friday evening in an Eliminator match. Having qualified for the playoffs of this season, Mumbai finished in the 4th spot, whereas Gujarat Titans finished in the 3rd spot, meaning now they will face each other in the Eliminator match, and then only one of the two will move ahead in the season. The winner of this match will face the loser of qualifier 1 in qualifier 2, and then the winner of this match will become the second finalist of the IPL 2025 Season.

In development around the game, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has sent a strong message before the big Eliminator match against the Gujarat Titans. He posted a reel on Instagram with the caption “Now or Never” showing how serious and focused he is ahead of the must-win game on May 30.

Covered in sweat, his intense training shows that he’s preparing with just one goal in mind, and that is to win. The video ends with Hardik posing in an MI jersey with Kung Fu Pandya written behind.

This match is very important for the Mumbai Indians. So far this season, they haven’t beaten the Gujarat Titans and have lost both times in the league stage. They have also lost all their matches against the other top teams, including Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. On top of that, MI has never won the IPL after entering the playoffs in 3rd or 4th place.
