Why is Yashasvi Jaiswal Leaving Mumbai to Join Goa’s Cricket Team?
Reportedly, Yashasvi Jaiswal has given personal reasons for the switch as he looks to start a new chapter with Goa ahead of the next domestic season.
“He has sought an NOC from us and has cited that the reason for his move to Goa is personal,” a source said to The Indian Express.
Mumbai has been a giant force in domestic cricket, with 42 titles in the Ranji Trophy, 15 in the Irani Cup, 4 in the Vijay Hazare, 2 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali, 8 in the Will Trophy, and 1 in the Nissar Trophy. On the other hand, Goa is yet to win any title in domestic cricket.
