Months after asking for an NOC from the Mumbai Cricket Association, Jaiswal makes a U-turn and has requested MCA if he can continue playing with the Mumbai team in the domestic cricket season. Yashasvi has dropped an email to MCA and requested to withdraw the early switch from Mumbai to Goa. The association hasn’t responded to players’ requests yet.

“I the undersigned would request your goodself to consider my request in withdrawing my NOC given to me as I had some family plans in shifting to Goa which for now has been curtailed ! So I sincerely request MCA to allow me to play for Mumbai this season ! I have not submitted the NOC to BCCI nor to Goa Cricket Association,” Jaiswal wrote in email to MCA, as per the reports in the Indian Express.

The player earlier than this requested an NOC from the Mumbai Cricket Association to join Goa in the domestic cricket, MCA did respond to his request and granted him the certificate allowing a smooth switch between the team, but now it seems like the plans of the cricketer has changed and he wants to continue with his old team.

“Goa has thrown me a new opportunity and has offered me a leadership role. My first goal will be to do well for India and whenever I’m not on national duty, I will be playing for Goa and try to make them go deep into the tournament. This was an (important) opportunity which came my way and I just took it,” Jaiswal had told The Indian Express.

Mumbai Cricket Association hasn’t made an official decision yet and is expected to reply sooner. In a move that was initiated by the Goa Cricket Association, Jaiswal was offered the opportunity to lead the franchise. He is among the best players who have performed well in the domestic, national, and International.
