The final of the World Test Championship cycle 2023-25 is set to be played between South Africa and Australia at the iconic Lord’s stadium in June from 11. With now almost a month to go, ICC has announced the prize pool for the World Test Championship Final between South Africa and Australia for the 2023–25 edition of the ICC World Test Championship.
The winner of the Championship will walk away with a huge pool of money for the WTC 2023-25 Cycle, they will be awarded an amount of USD 3.6 million (approximately standing at 30,79,48,931 Indian rupees) which is more than the double amount of the previous 2021 and 2023 editions(USD 1.6 million awarded to winners of both 2021 and 2023 editions). Meanwhile, the runners ups might not win trophy but they will win a huge sum of money for finishing up second for the WTC 2023-25 Cycle, Runners up will earn an amount of USD 2.16 million (approximately 18,47,96,390 Indian rupees), which is also more than the last edition’s amount of USD 800,000.

“I am sure spectators at Lord’s, along with fans tuning in from all over the world, will be treated to some top-class cricket in this revered format when Australia and South Africa take the field less than a month from now.

WTC 2023-25 Final: Australia vs South Africa
South Africa topped the WTC25 standings and became the first team to secure a spot in the final at Lord’s, courtesy of series victories over Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, along with a drawn home series against India.
Australia booked their place in the final with a 3-1 triumph over India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Their strong campaign also included a 3-0 sweep of Pakistan at home and away series wins against New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
