In the 11th over, Heinrich Klaasen tried to hit the 5th ball of Mohit Sharma’s over long on, but it skied off the edge, and Vipraj Nigam took the running back catch that even he couldn’t believe on the field. When the ball went in the air, he ran back from the backward point and almost overran the ball, but his head was still looking at the ball, and he took the catch around chest height to dismiss the danger, looking at Klaasen at 32.
Pat Cummins, captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, won the toss in Visakhapatnam and elected to bat first against Delhi Capitals. However, this time, the template of SRH’s batting field was lost as they lost three early wickets of Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Nitish Kumar Reddy under the powerplay. Travis Head also managed to put up only 22 runs before Mitchell Starc got him. Then the young Aniket Verma and Heinrich Klaasen give some counterpunches. Heinrich Klaasen scored 32 runs off 19 balls before a stunner by Vipraj got him, and Aniket smashed 74 runs off 41 balls, including 5 fours and 6 sixes.
